Cancellation Policy

Notary Services Policies & Guidelines Business Name: PenPoint Notary Services Owner: Andrea Pitts Serving: Houston and Surrounding Areas Appointments All services are by appointment only (same-day appointments available based on availability). Clients are encouraged to be on time; a 10-minute grace period is provided before the appointment may be rescheduled or marked as a no-show. For mobile appointments, travel begins promptly at the agreed-upon time. Payments & Fees Payment is due at the time of service via cash, Zelle, Cash App, or approved electronic invoice. Travel, convenience, or after-hours fees may apply and will be disclosed before the appointment. Returned or bounced payments are subject to a $35 service fee. Identification Requirements All signers must present a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport, military ID). ID must match the name on the document being signed unless otherwise legally permitted. Right to Refuse Service Services will be refused if: The signer appears confused, coerced, or intoxicated Valid ID is not provided The document is incomplete or appears fraudulent Any unethical or illegal activity is suspected Cancellations & Rescheduling Please provide at least 2 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 2 hours' notice may be subject to a $25 cancellation fee. No-shows for mobile appointments may be charged the full travel fee. Remote Online Notarizations (RON) A stable internet connection and a working webcam/mic are required. Signers must complete identity verification and credential analysis prior to the appointment. Sessions are recorded for compliance and legal purposes as required by law. Travel & Coverage Area We serve Houston and surrounding counties. Additional travel fees may apply outside our standard coverage zone. Locations we serve include homes, offices, hospitals, jails, and care facilities. After-Hours & Weekend Services Evening, weekend, and holiday appointments are available upon request. After-hours rates may apply. Document Preparation We do not prepare or interpret legal documents. Documents must be complete prior to notarization. Confidentiality All information and documents are kept strictly confidential. We adhere to all applicable privacy and data protection laws.
